Meet Papa Wang

Ages 3–7

Papa Wang is Bobo's calm, cuddly dad. In his light-blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up, his beige pants and his slippers that go slap, he's the first one on the scene whenever something at home needs fixing.

Papa is happy to take a first look. He'll try the old plunger, check another room for power, or peek at the thermostat. But he also knows when a job is for the pros. That's when he picks up the phone and calls Paul, Ethan or Hank, and he's the one who takes Bobo to visit Angie at her hangar.

Most of all, Papa keeps Bobo safe and encourages him. He gently explains why some things are only for trained helpers, and at the end of every adventure he wraps Bobo in a big, cozy hug and tells him he can be anything he wants to be.

Fun facts about Papa Wang

  • He rolls up his sleeves and pads around in slippers.
  • He tried the plunger once, then called Paul the Plumber.
  • He knows a breaker may trip when a circuit's not right, and that the panel is for pros.
  • He can spell out what H-V-A-C stands for: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  • He gently stops Bobo's paw: "No paws in the toilet."
  • His favorite words: "The sky is the limit — just wait and see!"
